Chapter 23 Don't Go Overboard
- Nathan glanced at the test results, his gaze darkening. The results indicated a mere 0.01 percent blood relationship, indicating they weren't father and son. Nathan's initial reaction was one of disbelief. How can this be? On the other hand, Olivia remained calm, having anticipated this outcome.
- Emily, seated beside them, sneered and added fuel to the fire. "I told you this child couldn't possibly be yours, but you didn't believe me! Now that you've seen the results, you should accept the truth. Thankfully, you conducted the test. Otherwise, you would've been raising someone else's child!"
- "Enough!" Nathan snapped, glancing towards Emily sharply. "I have my own judgment. I don't need you to interfere!" Emily's face paled. "Why are you being so aggressive? Did I say something wrong? Why are you speaking to me like this?" Nathan didn't believe the accuracy of the results. Recalling the doctor's behavior, his gaze flickered. The doctor was clearly guilty. It was suspicious! He looked up at Dr. Ricker pointedly as his thin lips parted. "Are you certain the results are accurate?"
