Chapter 13 A Guilty Conscience

• "Heh..." Nathan chuckled at her reaction. Even though the woman before him had changed significantly, she was still the same in some ways. The more she resisted, the more suspicious she seemed. His tone was icy, "I'll know for sure if I take Liam for a paternity test!"
• With that, he suddenly exerted force, causing Olivia's hand, pressing against the door, to instantly go limp. The door swung open abruptly, and Liam happened to come out of the dining room. The boy had noticed that his mom had been gone for a while and hadn't returned, so he wanted to check on her. To his surprise, he saw Nathan when he looked up.
• His eyes lit up. Unable to contain his excitement, he rushed over, squeezing past Olivia to hug Nathan, "Daddy, why are you here?" Nathan stepped back from the collision, looking down at the delighted child. Liam was thrilled and fired off questions rapidly. "Did you come to see me?"
