Denny never thought he would get to realize and decide many things, important ones, within a day. When he spoke with his dad earlier, he realized this idea to give Trisha a discrete amount for her Personal Secretary position. Although she wasn't doing anything much in his office, for Denny, her mere presence and making sure she was safe all day by his side was more than any job well done for him to consider. It was giving him the peace of mind that she was right where he could see him whenever the thoughts of her would occupy his mind. And it was more than enough to make Denny work efficiently than when his mind would be divided, worrying if she was fine somewhere he could not check with his one eyes whenever he wanted to, or worst, was she in danger, in any way.
As a result, Denny noticed he was less stressed at work. Compared to the days when he would have to visit Sweet Haven every night, when he was too stressed to adjust his time schedules and workloads having his own business and the job his brother Desmund had suddenly became his to work, the days ever since Trisha went to work with him were easier.
