Chapter 7

  • Hardin suddenly stopped outside and looked at Harmony, his face red with anger at seeing how exposed she was and how the guys kept looking at her.
  • "There are some things you have to stop doing," Hardin said, his voice stern.
  • "If a man tells you to pick something for them, you should ignore him, you hear me?" he said, his eyes narrowing.
  • Harmony nodded silently, looking down.
  • "I don't think you should return to that club anymore," Hardin said, his jaw clenched. "I will be back."
  • He left, intending to go back to the club, but then he spotted Alessandro leaving with Reaper behind him. Hardin followed immediately, his eyes fixed on them.
  • Alessandro entered his room, and Hardin wanted to follow, but Reaper stopped him.
  • "Let me in, I need to talk to him," Hardin said angrily, his fists clenched.
  • "I don't think he will want to see you," Reaper said calmly, raising an eyebrow.
  • "Do you think I care about that?" Hardin said, his face twisted in disgust. "I need to set things straight. He can do whatever he wants with me, but not my sister. I can't accept that."
  • "I can't believe you right now," Reaper said, shaking his head. "Follow me."
  • Reaper dragged him away, Hardin's face scowling in anger.
  • "I told you I wanted to see him," Hardin said, his voice raised.
  • "I fucking told you. He has to stop all this because I can tolerate it. I just can't."
  • "I don't think you understand the type of person Venom is," Reaper said, his expression serious.
  • "You think anything will change if you go and challenge him?"
  • "I don't care," Hardin scoffed, rolling his eyes.
  • "I think you will," Reaper said, his eyes narrowing. "Because that alone can put your lovely sister and yourself in trouble."
  • Hardin didn't say anything, his face set in a determined expression.
  • "If you really love your sister and you want her to survive in a place like this, you have to lay low," Reaper continued, his voice firm.
  • "I really mean what I'm saying. Acting this way won't help, but it will bring more trouble to you.”
  • "Why are you telling me all this?" Hardin finally asked after a moment of silence, looking at Reaper with a confused expression.
  • "Well, strangely, I like you," Reaper said with a smile, "so think about it." He patted Hardin's shoulder and left.
  • "I am Reaper, by the way," he said midway before continuing his journey.
  • Hardin looked down, thinking about what Reaper told him. He went back to the bar and found it already empty, with only bartenders cleaning the place.
  • "You should follow me," a guy said with a smile. "We are staying in the same room."
  • Hardin didn't say anything and just followed him, his face expressionless.
  • "I love your courage," the guy said. "I wish I could be like you."
  • "I am Cole, by the way," the guy introduced again, but Hardin still ignored him until they got to the room.
  • It was beautiful, with a huge bed at the center.
  • "We will be sleeping together on the same bed," Cole said. "I hope you will be okay with that?"
  • Hardin muttered, "I don't," and lay on the bed, his face scowling.
  • "I guess you don't like talking too much," Cole said and also lay beside him.
  • "How did you see the room?" a maid asked Harmony, who had brought her to their shared room.
  • "It's nice," Harmony said, looking around. "Can I change my clothes?"
  • "Sure," the girl said with a smile. "Let me give you one of my clothes. I am Star, by the way."
  • "I am Harmony," Harmony said cutely. "So how did you get here?"
  • "My dad sold me to Godfather Marco," Star said sadly, her eyes downcast.
  • "Sorry about that," Harmony said calmly.
  • "No, I am over that," Star said. "What about you?"
  • Harmony shrugged. "I don't know."
  • "Oh, I think you should rest now," Star said. "We will wake up very early tomorrow."
  • Star gave Harmony one of her clothes to put on. Harmony collected it with a smile, put on the dress, and lay on the bed. She had really been through a lot that day, witnessing things she thought only happened in movies - unreal stuff. She kept thinking about it until she finally fell asleep.
  • THE NEXT MORNING
  • DINNING HALL
  • The dining room was a grand space with high ceilings and large windows that allowed natural light to pour in. The room was dominated by a long, wooden table that stretched down the center, surrounded by numerous chairs. The table was always set with plates, glasses, and silverware, ready for the gang members to gather for their daily meals.
  • The walls of the dining room were adorned with intricate wallpaper and lined with tall, wooden cabinets that stored fine china and other dining essentials. A large chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a warm glow over the room
  • As the gang members sat down to eat, a procession of maids, including Harmony, began to emerge from the kitchen, carrying an array of delicious dishes. All eyes fell on harmony immediately and that made her really uncomfortable.
  • Star whispered to Harmony, "I think you're becoming popular!" Harmony's cheeks flushed as she dropped a generous serving of food in front of Ghost, who smiled warmly at her.
  • "What's your name?" Ghost asked, Her voice gentle.
  • Harmony looked down, her voice barely above a whisper. "Harmony."
  • Ghost's eyes lit up. "That's a beautiful name!
  • “And what about your brother?" Stalker asked curiously.
  • Harmony's gaze remained downcast. "He's Hardin."
  • The gang members exchanged amused glances, and Stalker chuckled.
  • "How old are you, Harmony?" Hacker asked curiously.
  • She hesitated before answering, "Nineteen."
  • Hacker pouted, his face scrunched up in disappointment. "No way! You're older than me!"
  • Ghost smirked, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "I told you, Hacker!"
  • Harmony bowed her head, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the attention. She just wanted to see her brother and get out of the uncomfortable clothes she was wearing.
  • After serving the gang members, they all return to the big kitchen, she was relieved to receive a portion of food for herself. She had been hungry since yesterday and dug in with gusto.
  • "I see you're here too?" Virus smirked, looking at Alessandro.
  • "Godfather called me," Alessandro muttered, his expressionless face revealing nothing.
  • "What do you think he wants to tell us?" Virus asked, his curiosity piqued.
  • "Maybe a task," Alessandro shrugged, his shoulders barely moving.
  • "My sons," Godfather Marco said, emerging from his room with a warm smile, his tobacco pipe between his lips.
  • "Why are we here?" Alessandro asked, his eyes fixed on Godfather Marco.
  • "I actually have a task for you both," Godfather Marco replied, his eyes twinkling with warmth.
  • Hacker came into the room, he was holding his laptop, a lollipop between his lip, he bowed respectfully, his grin wide as he gazed at Alessandro.
  • "Three years ago, a group of ministers did some illegal jobs. They sold people's property and took the money," Godfather Marco began.
  • "They actually created a vault where they keep the money," Godfather Marco continued, his voice serious.
  • Hacker showed them the picture of the vault on his laptop.
  • "Amando, one of the ministers, murdered another to take all the money, which is 500 billion euros," he added.
  • "So what do you want us to do?" Virus asked, his eyes gleaming with interest.
  • "He will be out of the country by tomorrow morning, which will give us access to his house. We are going to take all the money from the vault," Godfather Marco said, his eyes locked onto theirs.
  • "Will that be easy?" Venom asked calmly.
  • "The vault has thick walls and a secure door with multiple locks and a combination dial," Hacker said, tapping away on his computer.
  • "Oh? And how do you plan to get past that?" Godfather Marco asked, raising an eyebrow.
  • "I've been studying the vault's security systems, and I think I can disable the alarms and motion detectors. And with the right tools, we can crack the combination dial," Hacker replied, his grin mischievous.
  • Virus leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with interest. "And what about the ventilation system?"
  • Hacker nodded. "I've got that covered too. We can use the air ducts to our advantage"
  • Venom nodded which made Hacker smile.
  • “So we are going tomorrow evening, you both should gather the strong gang members and plan how you are going to go with it“ Godfather Marco said.
  • “Also, you will have rivals from other clans because we are not the only ones after the money,” Godfather Marco added after a moment.
  • “What about the securities?” Venom asked.
  • “I got that covered too, there are a total of two hundred securities at the mansion, one hundred surrounded the mansion, fifty are in the mansion and the remaining fifty are right in front of the vault “ Hacker said while showing them the picture.
  • "Wait," Alessandro said, his voice cold and detached. He actually saw one of the guards and with the way, he was talking, it's obvious, he is the head of the security.
  • "I want to know more about the head of security." Alessandro said with a deep frown.
  • " His name is Gandhi,He's a former cop. Very experienced and dangerous." Hacker said.
  • "I want his address," Alessandro said, his eyes glinting with intensity.
  • Hacker hesitated, then nodded. "I can get it for you."
  • "Good," Alessandro said, his expression unchanging. "
  • The others exchanged uneasy glances, sensing the tension in the air.
  • “I have to take care of something” Alessandro muttered and left immediately.
