Chapter 22

Harmony's eyes fluttered open, groggily taking in the bright light streaming into the room. She stretched, arching her back, and that's when the memories came flooding back. Alessandro's intense gaze, his rough hands gripping her waist, the way he'd pulled her into bed with him... She must have dozed off, thinking it was all just a wild dream.
But as she tried to sit up, she realized that the arms wrapped around her waist were very real. And very tight. Her head was still resting on Alessandro's chest, and she could feel his steady heartbeat beneath her ear.
Her eyes widened in shock as she took in the reality of the situation. This wasn't a dream! She was actually in bed with Alessandro!
