Chapter 26
- Alessandro sped out of the clan's premises, his tires screeching as he took the corners. No one knew where he was headed, and he didn't bother to share his plans with anyone. His face was set in a determined expression, his jaw clenched and his eyes fixed on the road ahead.
- As he arrived at the Black Jungle, he slowed down, his eyes scanning the surroundings. He knew that Hardin and Snake were hiding somewhere in the dense foliage, but he had no idea where exactly. He turned off the engine and stepped out of the car, his eyes adjusting to the dim light of the jungle.
- Alessandro moved cautiously, avoiding traps and wild animals. He knew that Hardin and Snake were experts in survival, but he also knew that they wouldn't hesitate to defend themselves if they felt threatened. As he walked deeper into the jungle, he stumbled upon the clearing where they had packed the gold. And there they were, sleeping in each other's arms.
