• Bethany’s face brightened at the sight of Jason. “Jason! What a wonderful surprise. Thank you so much for coming and for these lovely gifts.”
• Greg’s eyes flared with a mix of curiosity and irritation. “Jason, right? I remember you. From the old days. How long have you and Bethany been… friends?”
