Chapter 5 She Leaves The Country

• Her grandfather came out with his things and she also took her things. Aunt Helen came over to accompany them to the airport.
• They were not related to her by blood but she grew up with her mother and she was taken as part of the family.
• She made her friend's parents her own parents because she was an orphan. And they also took her as their second daughter.
• They were not able to have other children so they were very glad to have a child they could help where possible.
• She cried on the airport when she saw them leave. She knew that the old man was definitely not coming back to this country.
• As for her friend's daughter, she knows that one day she will come back and search for her father. She may not exactly know who impregnated her friend.
• However, she knows that it was someone from a higher status than them. She also assumed that he was most probably married or betrothed to someone else.
• Which was why their relationship ended the moment she discovered that she was pregnant.
• She also can not believe that her friend died before she could even tell them the truth about her daughter's father.
• But they have all tried to give her everything a child may need in her life so that she does not feel the void of not having a father by her side.
• Grandpa Lee said, "take good care of my house, rent it out and send the money into her account. She needs it more than anything. Don't sell it because I know that one day she may want to come back in this country. She has left her heart here and may want to come to it. She should have a place to stay when that day comes."
• Helen nodded her head and said, "dad, I shall not disappoint you. Please do make sure that you let me know when you have arrived safely at home. We should also not lose contact with each other. I will frequently call you, don't ignore my calls."
• Grandpa Lee smiled and said, "how can I avoid calls from the only daughter I am left with in this world. I will do no such thing, take care of yourself. If you need anything, don't be afraid to call me." She nodded and hugged him.
• Faith was not with them, she has given them space. She knew that her grandfather probably want to say a thing or two to the person he is leaving his house with.
• As for her, she has worn sunglasses and a hat. She certainly did not want to be seen by people in the airport.
• They boarded the plane and left the country just like that. When the plane took off she was finally at ease.
• She looked out the window and waved goodbye to the country that has brought her both joy and sadness at the same time.
• She looked up to the Heavens and prayed for new beginnings in her life. She prayed for a life that was filled with joy, peace and happiness.
• Her grandfather held her hand and said, "all is not lost my dear grand daughter. The Heavens will not be unfair to you. They shall put a smile on that sad face of yours in no time."
• She smiled and nodded her head. Then she placed her head on her grandfather's shoulders and closed her eyes.
• Daniel's people at the airport told him that they have seen Faith boarding a plane and going to country Z.
• He could not believe it, he also wondered what the boss has done to the boss lady for her to sign the divorce papers and also go to her grandfather's home country.
• He decided that he will act like someone that knows nothing, but he will secretly be looking out for the lady boss.
• He believes that one day, she will come back and be the good partner she was to the boss. That mistress will be kicked out like a useless thing.
• In the office, Elic could not concentrate properly because he kept on thinking about Faith and the act they had last night.
• When he thought about it, his manhood quickly shoot up like it was ready to have her again.
• He laughed at himself, when has he started craving for a woman this much. What has this woman done to him?
• He decided that he will ask Daniel to find out where Faith was and who she was staying with now that she has left his house.
• Little did he know that Daniel has vowed not to tell him where Faith was. He was not pleased with his boss' action of making her sign the divorce papers.
• He may be his personal assistant but the truth was that he was a very loyal servant of Elic's grandmother.
• He respected that woman very much and he knows that she must have had her reasons for forcing him to marry this woman.
• He wonders who has gone to the home affairs department to submit the papers. He wishes that those papers don't get delivered there.

• When grandpa Lee and his grand daughter arrived there. There was already someone waiting for them.
• When grandpa Lee called his sister and told her that he was coming home. His sister was very happy to receive such news.
• Such that she even volunteered to be the one that will fetch them from the airport. She was very excited about this.
• She has been begging her brother to come back to his home country. She even once threatened him about dying but he was still stubborn.
• He told her that he promised his wife that he will take care of their grand daughter and that is what he is doing now.
• When she saw them coming, she was very happy that they have both come. She knows that he might want to go back if he had left his grand daughter that side.
• She hugged her brother then she also hugged Faith and said, "thank you for finally bringing my brother home. Our mom died with a broken heart. She must be very happy to see him coming back home. This is the only son the Heavens blessed them with."
• Faith nodded and felt ashamed of herself. But her grandpa said, "I stayed back there out of my own accord. No one forced me to and I also came back on my own."
• His sister said, "come, let's not argue here. Let's go home. I have prepared a fabulous meal to welcome you both home. I hope you still love the food I have worked hard to prepare for you big brother."
• They left the airport and someone in the airport saw them. He wanted to come closer and greet them but he suddenly stopped.
• He doesn't want to lie, it has been years since he last saw Faith and he was not even sure if this was really her.
• He decided that he will pass by their house tomorrow to see if it was really her. She has grown to be such a beautiful woman.
• He watched them leave and smiled, he can not believe that the girl he has had a crush on was now even more prettier than how she was back then.
• Indeed when Grandpa Lee and Faith got to the house, they were very shocked. His sister has made a feast, she has also called all family members and neighbours.
• She has told them that her brother has come back home for good. They were all here to welcome them back.
• When they saw him coming with his grand daughter. Some were very happy that such a beautiful woman was coming to join their community.
• While others wondered what qualifications she had because they were on a mission to improve their home town.
• She was very happy to be welcomed like this. She was also happy to see some people that she last saw on her mother's funeral.
• They had their dinner and then everyone went back to their home. She decided to go sleep, she said she was tired.
• While her grandfather stayed behind with this sister. It has been years since they last saw each other.
• Their parents only gave birth to them so they grew up very close to each other such that the sister was very heart broken when her brother decided to leave the country.
• She was hurt such that it took her time to accept her sister in law. She felt like she was the reason why he has decided to live far away from them.
• As for their mother, she died while not talking to her daughter in law. She was still angry at her for making his son leave his family.
• However, she was not like their mother. She eventually forgave her sister in law after her brother explained to her the reason he decided to be the one that goes that side.
• They chatted till after midnight then grandpa Lee said, "don't even think of going back to your house at this time. We have plenty of rooms in the house. Go sleep and you shall wake up in the morning and go back to your house."
• She looked at him then said, "I will only listen to you because I haven't seen you for years." They both laughed then each of them went to their own bedroom to sleep.
• Faith wanted to know if Elic has announced that he was now divorced or not but she stopped herself from checking such news.
• She was counselling herself that if she does that then she will not be able to heal properly. Checking those news might open up a can of worms.
• She needs to avoid reading anything that has to do with him so that she will be able to get over him with time.
