Chapter 18 Escape To Work

• My new day as Marcus' wife has begun. We don't have any household help here, so I woke up early to prepare our breakfast. While we were in the dining area eating, Marcus and I were both silent. He was engrossed in reading something on his iPad. After he said those hurtful words, I forced myself to sleep while facing away from him because I didn't know what to do after he finished showering. Fortunately, I managed to sleep despite the heavy emotions, and I woke up early.
