• “I, Chloe Addison, take you, Kelvin Swift, to be my husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part. In witness to the priest and everyone here I make this vow.”
• I could still hear the sadness in my voice as I heard those words again in my head, the words I had said under the witness of a priest, the words that wouldn’t leave my sleep even when the wedding had ended a few days ago.
