Chapter 61 Preparing to visit the Alphas

• I could hear my heart beating so loud and clear, it is beating so hard and fast and it’s adding to my nervousness. I don’t know what we are going to meet when we arrive, I’m sure that they would be so shocked to know that I am still alive. They would have a lot of questions, I don’t know what I’m going to say or do when they start looking at me like a fucking traitor that betrayed her own family. Maxwell had rehearsed with me a thousand times, telling me all I’m going to say, giving me every answer that I should give them, but I just don’t remember a thing he has said to me. I’m riding in the same car with Harriet, while Maxwell and Jason rode in another car, coming behind us. He doesn’t want us to be seen together, he doesn’t want anyone to know that we are in a relationship, he wants to try and use and to get information from my father. It’s all so complicated and it infuriates me to think that I actually agreed to go with his plan, I let him use me as a bait to catch my own father, isn’t that ironic. After so many years, I’m finally getting reunited with my family, and I’m about to greet my father with another betrayal.
