• The following morning, I felt drained from managing the powers that Jennifer was coaching me to control. It surprised even her when I grasped the Light element relatively easily, especially since I'd struggled with the more combative elements.
• Susan couldn't guide me in controlling dark magic, but she had thoughtfully left a detailed manual for me. I diligently followed the instructions, and it worked like a charm.
