Chapter 3

• Heaving a sigh, I decided to give her a chance, seeing as she was an innocent little thing. something I usually didn't do. I was a predator who never gave chances, yet I was giving this strange little human one. To get away from me yet to my surprise, she held onto me.
• "I don't care what you're. I want to go with you. I'll be your prey if I have too," she announced, stunning me futher.
• Tsk tsk tsk
• Such a poor little kitten.
• "Aren't you brave, offering your self on a sliver platter to a very bad man, human girl you've got guts, but like I said, I am no savior."
• I turn to leave, but the stubborn human held onto my legs, making me pinch the bridge of my nose. She's such a pest, how annoying.
• "You have to save me. I'd rather go with you, whoever you might be, a bad man, a devil, I don't care."
• The desperation in her voice was evident making me heave another sigh. Humans seem to never heed to warning until they've fallen way too deep beyond redemption. This human girl was treading on a dangerous path, a path of destruction. She was running away from her hell, not knowing mine was hotter.
• "Be careful what you wish for," I said to her before turning to look at the people who were after her. There were about five of them all tall and bulky, each of them holding an iron bat.
• I had initially wondered what the human girl was doing hiding beside my car, but after seeing these men, I didn't need to be informed about the situation.
• How pathetic. To think that all these men were after one girl, regardless of the reason. After studying the men, I returned my gaze to the girl.
• "Since you insist. I'll grant your wish. But don't say I didn't warn you," I made myself clear, before turning to the men who were now standing a few inches away from us. I usually didn't involve myself with human affairs, but here I was thinking of helping this one, perhaps because of how innocent she looked, or perhaps it was the thought of her been my prey that drove me. You don't expect me to help her for free, I wasn't a knight in shining armor. I was more of a... I have no perfect description to embody what I was.
• "Handsome young man, you'd do well to hand over the girl to us," said the one with bald head and a huge scar on his forehead who appeared to be the leader of the gang.
• "What if I don't want to?" I retorted, taking slow steps toward them until I was about four steps away from their reach. "What would you do if I don't give her to?"
• "Handsome young man..."
• "Handsome yes... Young no," I cut off the man midway, glaring at him and I noticed the way he shuddered in fear, probably trying hard not to pee his pant in front of his men before regaining his fake composure.
• "Alright mister, just give us the girl. We only want the girl nothing else."
• "Why? Are you related? Who is she to you?" I asked curtly and the man paused for a spilt second looking as though he was trying to figure out the answer,
• "She belongs to our boss."
• "In other words, you're not related."
• "Well... by blood we're not related. But since she belongs to the boss."
• "Fascinating," I mumbled, dipping my hand into the pocket of my pant to take out my lighter. I flickered it, before meeting the man's gaze again.
• "Then my answer is no. You see, I've taken an interest in her, so my answer would be No."
• "Look we don't want trouble, just give the girl to me."
• "Are you commanding me?" My eyes darkened as I stare at the man. My hand was itching to slit his throat, however, I didn't want to dirty my hand with his disgusting blood.
• "I... I am not commanding you. Look if you're interested in the girl, you can always come to the brothel, she'd be there to serve you."
• "I don't like to share, so how about I make you an offer_ I'll give you any amount for her, name your price."
• "Sorry mister, she's not for sale."
• Not for sale, interesting.
• I was surprised that this human had outrightly turned down my offer. Humans were known to be selfish creatures so if these men were declining my offer, it only meant that little kitten was far more valuable. There must be more to her than meet the eyes. At the thought my desire to possess the human, grew immensely. I liked the thought of being in possession of such a valuable prey, it made my blood boil in pure excitement.
• "Since you refused my offer, it your loss and my gain. However, I know you wouldn't let me leave with her just like that, so let's get it over with, I have somewhere to be."

• As we drove on high speed along the highway, I continuously stole glances at the strange man who sat beside me with his eyes focused on the road. He had his right hand tapping lightly on his thighs, while his left hand skillfully controlled the stirring wheel to the desired direction.
• My heart was pounding as my mind flooded with different thoughts. I couldn't shake away the image of this strange man moving at the speed of light as he fought with those men, who had come to capture me. The way he moved wasn't human-like and it left me in both awe and in deep fear. Those men had been killed, even before they could lay a finger on him and none of them was left alive. They were killed brutally right in front of me, where blood had been gushing out from their throat.
• Just what have I gotten my self into? I couldn't help but wonder if I had gotten my self into a much deeper pit. Have I entered a hell much worse by running away from brothel and asking this strange man for help. It was at the heat of the moment but now I sat beside this man whose domineering aura was almost suffocating, I couldn't help but rethink my decision. There was just something dark and ominous about him.
• "Rethinking your decision already?" Came his taunting voice like he read my mind. He had momentarily turned in my direction, his gaze lingered on me for a split second before looking forward. "Sorry to inform you human girl, it's too late now, welcome to my hell."
