Chapter 50 - Concerned Alpha

• I can hear the voices around me, but I am in so much pain that my brain is unable to process anything that anyone is saying. When I felt someone's hand on my shoulder, I shouted in panic, "Don't touch me, it hurts!" I shouted. I know that I am fine; I made sure not to get hurt, so why am I feeling so much pain?
• "Sedate her, Addy. Give her anesthesia," there is complete chaos around me, but Diego's voice is ringing loud and clear in my ears. What is happening? I feel my body being lifted up from the ground, and people are moving around me, but I am unable to understand anything. I am sitting above a silver wolf while someone is clutching me from behind. I can see a huge black wolf nearby, and on it, a wounded Diego is sitting while the old man is sitting behind Diego, clutching him tightly. There is surely something wrong with me, there are no silver wolves in this world.
• The last thing I remember is Diego's face, which looks sad while tears are falling from his eyes. "Diego..." I mumbled, and everything turned black.
