Chapter 24 - Breaking Me
- When I woke up, I found myself in a dimly lit dungeon with my hands and legs tied with chains that were attached to the wall. I remembered the external force that I felt in the knights from those two wolves, and again, a shiver went down my spine. "This time, the situation is really messed up," I thought to myself.
- I could hear many growls coming from the nearby cells, and I tried to keep my heart calm. I am in a cell, and its door was made of metal with a little window in it. I am badly hoping that they had locked the door properly because every single soul in this whole dungeon is a threat to my life. When I chose the life of a huntress, I knew that I would make many enemies, but at that time, I never thought that if I ever left this hunting, it would leave me all alone and weak in front of one of the strongest creatures God created.
- I waited there for a very long time for anyone to come and do their interrogation (or truth be told, torture). I was really not expecting them to treat me well when I had already found myself in dungeons, but I did expect them to kill me soon if they didn't get any information from me. I really didn't know anything about the hunters now. I didn't even know who was leading them, what they were planning, or anything. It had been five long years that I had been running from them, so how would I be able to know anything about them?
