Chapter 26 - Mercy
- "So that's it," I couldn't help but struggle between being scared, nervous, and confused. She came towards me and, without saying anything, started unlocking the cuffs. "Where are you taking me, and for what?" I asked her, but she didn't say anything. Instead, after removing the cuffs, she took a hold of my arm tightly. "Listen, if you're going to kill me, then at least tell me so I can make up my mind for it," I said to her, but she ignored me again and dragged me outside the cell.
- When I came outside the cell, I couldn't believe how clean and classy they kept their dungeons. She dragged me through a corridor that had many similar cell doors, but there wasn't even a single strain of blood in the whole corridor, which was commendable. I would have complimented her, but I was scared for my well-being, so I asked her more questions to know what they were planning for me.
- "Where is Diego?" I asked her, but she was still silent. Before I could ask her anything more, she stopped in front of a guy. I tried to understand what she was planning, but suddenly the guy came towards me and tied my hands and eyes. "What are you doing? Let me go!" I tried to wriggle, but her hold was so tight that I couldn't even wriggle properly. Finally, he plastered tape on my mouth, and she started dragging me somewhere with her. Many times, I stumbled and felt like I was going to fall on my face, but her hold was so tight and steady on me that her strength astonished me.
