Chapter 33 Coming Together to Save a Life

• When Sarah arrived at the operating room, the operation had already commenced. Doctors from various departments inside and outside the hospital had been called over to coordinate the rescue. Dr. Lester had asked her to be there since she was an expert in neurosurgery.
• The patient was a young man in his 20s who seemed rather fit. However, as he lay naked on the operating table, his neck was visibly mutilated. If it weren't for parts of his skin and flesh still in contact, his head would have separated from his torso.
• His back was seriously mutilated as well, and his spine was misaligned. Anyone who saw him would assume the man did not stand a chance to live.
