Chapter 402 If I Can't Have Him, Then Die
- Sarah swiftly gathered her belongings and turned to face Ashley. Her voice was icy and calculated. "I’ve done my part by saving him. Now it’s time to settle our score." Without hesitation, Ashley moved to shield Alaric, her eyes narrowing as she confronted Sarah. "What exactly are you suggesting?" With a chilling edge to her voice, Sarah replied, "My brother and father are both still in critical condition. I can’t let the one responsible escape justice. So, here’s the deal: either you, or Alaric and Karen, come forward and take responsibility for your actions."
- Ashley, her hand trembling but resolute, leveled a pistol at her. "No! I won’t let you take him!" she yelled, her voice laced with desperation. "Today, I owe you a favor, Sarah. If fate allows, I’ll repay it. But for now, this ends here!" Sarah, unfazed, gripped her scalpel firmly. Her voice was sharp and unyielding. "That’s not going to happen. Keep your distance, and make sure you never cross my path again!" Before the situation could escalate further, Adam intervened, positioning himself protectively in front of her. His gaze was steely as he confronted Ashley. "Lower the pistol. There's no way you're getting out of here today."
- Ashley’s eyes welled up, her voice cracking as she looked at him. "Prince Parish, please... Can’t you give me just one chance? I can't let anything happen to my mother or Alaric!" Adam's voice dripped with scorn as he scoffed, "When you reached for the throne of the Walker Corporation, driven by your unbridled ambition, you should have prepared yourself for the inevitable fallout!" Ashley’s words spilled out, frantic and desperate. "You don’t understand—it wasn’t my choice! Sebastian forced my hand! If I hadn’t made my move, he would’ve wiped us all out!"
