Chapter 81 Her Confidence
- They both had a few shots, and maybe more so driving would never be a wise idea. Scarlett led the way as she suggested they were going to her place. She was thinking about taking a cab and change rides a few times to lose whoever might be following them along the way. She was sure those men at the bar wouldn't stay idle for a very long time. She needs to get rid of them or lose them so she can focus on her special client. Special because she is not going to make a deal like she usually does.
- Voltaire was obediently walking along with her. Not a word of protest or suggestion. He was passively following her every lead. Not even sure where she was taking him, but it did not bother him. He needed her help. Agreeing to his request to find another place to talk about the details of his matter was already a positive sign for him to rejoice that his deal would push through.
