• Checking the documents, Mavie felt her head start to ache. She was not sure she understood more than half of its entire content. It made her feel even more degraded and tinier than how she already knew she was.

And she was willing to accept whatever the employer would decide after coming clean from such false information she had shamefully indicated on her application form. She also admitted that she had been applying for jobs indicating the truth, but she would be rejected and denied without even giving her a chance to have an interview. Hence, she boldly wrote the words “high school graduate” on her application form.
