• Heidi took a deep breath and gritted her teeth as she started the car. The engine roared to life as she shifted the gears sharply, almost as though she was trying to drive her frustration right into the car. Each turn seemed to be an act of driving straight at Lucas himself.
• Her face, usually calm and composed, was now frozen in an icy mask of anger. Beneath that cold exterior, though, her skin still held a soft, rosy glow.
