Chapter 56
- I rolled over on my stomach and played with one of the lavender blooms a few inches from my face. After several failed attempts at using my new bracelet, we’d decided to call it a day. I’d come back to the palace, to sit and clean any debris from my arrows. Instead I found myself laying here thinking of, well, the overwhelming number of things I’d learned and experienced in the last few days.
- Picking up another arrow, I checked the nock for any damage. One chip out of it would change the course it flew.
- “You look deep in thought.”
