Chapter 3 Dania's Pregnancy

• He would have killed someone if he had not suppressed himself!
• "What? Did you ask me to get out? I'll kill you!" Henry was dazed for a while, and then he raised his fist and threw a punch toward Jonah.
• "Don't hit my son…" Susan wanted to protect her son, so she tried to shelter Jonah with her own body.
• "Boom!" In the nick of time, when Henry was about to hit Susan, there was a red light shone from Jonah's eyes. He raised his leg and aimed for Henry's chest. He kicked hard! Henry weighed around 220 pounds, but he was sent flying and landed hard on the courtyard.
• Jonah was enraged, he wanted to kill!
• "Jonah, don't fight! Did you forget what happened three years ago?" Susan tried her best to hold Jonah down as she cried and begged him.
• Jonah stopped moving and released his fists. He could not bear to make his mother cry because of him. And he had to support his broken family! Right now, he had to know what happened to his family in detail! And what about Diana? Why did mom avoid mentioning her?
• "Dammit! Dude, you're brave for hitting me!" Henry's underling helped him up. The corner of Henry's mouth was bleeding, he hissed as it was painful. When he was inhaling, he could feel the anger in him building up.
• "Tell Kuro that I will return him the full amount, no less." Jonah's facial expression was cold, and his stares were sharp. "But, I'll get back everything that you all owe the Clark family!"
• "You brat! You're brave! Wait for it!" Henry warned him before he turned and entered the vehicle at the entrance and left.
• "Mom, didn't Diana come visit for the past three years since so much had happened? Didn't she try to help our family?" After Henry was gone, Jonah asked curiously. Dania and Jonah had been together since they were studying, they were deeply in love with each other. Back then, during their internships in the hospital, Jonah hurt someone out of anger because of her and was sent to jail. And Dania's family's finances were better than average. Her parents did the medical equipment business. Her monthly pocket money was at least 200 thousand, so she was just working for the experience! Why didn't she help out?
• "Jonah, Dania isn't the one for you." Susan was avoiding his eye contact, and she said seductively..
• "Mom, what's wrong with Dania?" Jonah sensed something was wrong. "And also, no matter how poor our family might be, dad has renowned great medical skills. Our family shouldn't go to the extent of borrowing money from loan sharks to treat Casey, right?"
• "Our clinic was long gone." Susan knew she could not hide it any longer, so she told the truth.
• "What? The clinic was gone? Why?" Jonah was shocked. The clinic was handed down from Jonah's grandfather, and it was around for one hundred years. It was a family heritage. How could it be gone just like this?
• "Dania took it away."
• "Dania? Why?" Jonah's eyes widened, and he shook his head in disbelief.
• "One month after you're jailed, Dania came to us. She claimed that she was pregnant with your child and asked us for alimony." Susan explained to him by saying, "Your dad could see that she was pregnant. Thinking that the both of you were together for years, he sold the clinic and gave all 300 thousand dollars to Dania, saying that our family owes her because you being jailed wasn't reputable."
• "Pregnant?" Jonah raised his eyebrow, and he could feel the anger inside him. His hands turned into fists subconsciously! He wanted to kill people! He wanted to confront Dania face-to-face because, from the beginning of their relationship, he had never overstepped the boundary. He had good self-control. The most that they had done was holding hands and kissing. He did not even attempt to remove her clothes before, so, how could she be pregnant? He was being cheated on!
• "Yes." Susan sighed. "One year later, when we visited to check on the child, she told us that she miscarried…"
• "Madam Susan, Madam Susan! Are you home?" As they were talking, a crisp voice sounded. Jonah turned and saw a green figure dashing into the courtyard. He felt that it was familiar.
• "Ivy, I'm inside. Come in." Susan knew who visited, so, she invited the person in.
