• I slowly open my eyes, and my world spins. Harsh hospital lights intensify my throbbing headache. Groggily, I lift my head, but dizziness overwhelms me. Memories flood back: the incident with kai, pain, and darkness. I wanted to die, I attempted to jump off the railing when I started feeling this intense pain and there was blood.
• Panic sets in. Where am I? I focus on my surroundings: beeping machines, antiseptic smell, starched sheets. I'm in a hospital.
