• “Do you have everything packed?” I ask Astrid who nods her head while zipping up Mio’s bag and Mio in particular has refused to stay put. I’m carrying her but she wants me to drop her down on the floor.
• “Everything’s ready and we are ready to move,” Astrid announces with a wide smile on her face. I stayed over at Takashi’s place for two more weeks, and now I’m fully recovered. We are going back to Los Angeles and I know that there are lots of work that will be pending for me.
