• My head is fucking spinning. I can't really think straight as I keep saying anything that comes to my head. I was feeling so tipsy moments ago and washing my face with cold water helped a lot. Now I'm sitting lifelessly on the bathroom floor, my knees are held up as I wrap my hands around them and Kai stands beside me, listening to what I'm saying.
• I'm really alone. The more I think about it, the more it dawns on me. I have no friends, not to talk of a close friend or a best friend. There's no one in my life. Literally no one. I don't even have a family. I've not seen Kai with any family members, but at least he has Caspian. They seem to be cool with each other.
