Chapter 26 A Wife's Wrath

  • Margot was not surprised, not even disappointed when Harry didn’t come home at night. She made dinner for herself, enjoyed her meal silently, and went to bed. She didn’t bother calling or texting him, knowing he was with his mistress. Margot knew she had to get used to being alone, so Harry would have nothing to use against her when the right time came to completely rid of him in her life.
  • On Sunday morning, Margot woke up and prepared for her appointment at noon. She was leaving the house when Harry’s car arrived.
  • “Good morning, honey. Did you have breakfast?” Harry asked, smiling. He looked so fully energized, making Margot uncomfortable just by looking at him, knowing what made him like that.
