Chapter 101 The Truth

• He felt like trash after treating Violeta that way, but it was the only way he knew to get rid of her. Everything he had told her was a lie, well partly, but he hoped that would make her think things over once and for all. They couldn't be together! Yet deep down inside, he did want to be with her, but their love was forbidden. Demian Morgan would never leave them alone.
• He slumped in the taxi seat feeling tired of it all. And he hadn't even finished dealing with the small detail of Emma's arrival yet. That woman was much more trouble than Violeta herself. She brought him back to his past and he was not willing to tolerate that, so he needed to know why she had gone to such trouble to show up, and once he found out, he would send her back wherever she came from.
• After a few minutes, Dylan's taxi parked a few blocks away from his building. The driver said the streets were closed due to the number of dead from the shootout between gangs. So the boy had to walk home... when he arrived at his apartment, he found it as it was, the street was a complete mess full of police and yellow tape, but at least his home was not being investigated, and that was a relief to not be involved.
