Chapter 28 At Alpha Lucians Palace

• The next day quickly arrived. I woke up early that morning with a lump in my heart. Today, I am going to be standing in front of the infamous Alpha Lucian, a cold and heartless man, and answer his questions. Today, he would decide my fate—whether I live or die. I sat on the bed, wallowing in my thoughts. At that point, I felt guilty for Beta Josh's death. I remembered the dream I had of an old lady collecting his words and putting them in a pot. It was after that dream that I woke up to hear the news of the beta's death. I had always been running from the reality of being a witch, but it keeps haunting me. My witch sisters might have been angry about the way he treated me, which led to his death.
