Chapter 2 Reflection 2

  • "Stop that nonsense. What's the meaning of this? You shameless thing. There's nothing that I admire about your lifestyle, girl. You're so promiscu—" again, she didn't allow me to finish.
  • "Oh, shut up!" She cut me off arrogantly. "Don't you let those words fall off your lips again. We all know the reason you can't get a guy is because you're a disappointment, Sarah."
  • My heart sank the moment she called me a witch in front of a stranger.
  • "At least, even if you don't have a mate, a girl of your age should have f*cked already for crying out loud. That way, it would be like the moon goddess hadn't forsaken you that much, you witch."
  • "Don't you call me that," I warned calmly, anger seeping through me. I hated it when they call me that name. But it was obvious Lana was just starting with the name-calling.
  • "Oh, yeah.... What will you do, little witch?" she cursed under her breath.
  • "Don't you call me that!" I screamed in her face, my eyes already burningin rage, but it wasn't so bad until Carl chipped in.
  • "Seems big sis here hates it when you call her a witch," Carl said with an annoying smile.
  • "Yeah, why don't we scream it out so she could hear it loudly," Lana added.
  • "Witch! Witch! Witch! Witch! Witch!"
  • I shut my eyes, trying to control myself and the anger building up inside of me. I could feel something surging up in my stomach, something that was definitely not good, as Lana and her scumbag kept screaming 'witch' to my face.
  • I could feel myself already losing control and oh, I forgot to say how bad my temperament was. I had a very bad temper that doesn't care about morals. If I should let it out, it could bring a whole building into destruction.
  • To avoid this, I turned around to leave the room but Lana quickly ran towards the door and locked it, passing the keys over to Carl who was laughing stupidly.
  • "Lana, open the door so I can leave now!" I commanded, my mind trying so hard to control the adrenaline rush that was forming inside of me.
  • "I'm not with the key, baby. If you need it, you should meet Carl here for it," she said, and I averted my gaze to Carl who was wearing a smirk. I didn't bother to say anything but just gave him a deadly stare that explained I wasn't in the mood for shit.
  • "You need the key? Well, come get it," he said and put it inside his towel. "You'll have to come get it yourself."
  • "You fool! You're so shameless," I cursed angrily. I knew what he was trying to do.
  • "Don't you dare insult my man again, you witch!" Lana interjected and pushed me on the chest.
  • At this point, it was finally time to unleash the witch in me as she was persistent in calling me the name.
  • "Call me that one more time again," I said in a sinister tone as I shut my eyes. I could hear mumbling voices in my head again and it was louder.
  • "I said wit—" I didn't let her finish her words before I squeezed her fingers backward and gave her a hot slap that sent her crashing to the floor.
  • Carl, seeing this, quickly attacked, landing a heavy blow on my cheek that sent me to the floor also. "Don't you dare touch her again, witch!" he said, towering in front of me.
  • At this, I couldn't hold myself again, letting my emotions take full charge of me. My eyes changed into blood red as I stood up from the floor in rage. Quickly, I attacked Carl, kicking him in his balls and he stumbled to the floor in pain. I could see the way they both stared at me in surprise. Yes, the color of my eyes seems to change each time I'm angry, giving way for some kind of strange energy flowing into my body. This energy makes me so strong. I guess this is the point where I sometimes never try to doubt that I'm a witch.
  • Seeing this, Lana quickly helped Carl up from the floor, and then, they both transformed into their wolves.
  • "Okay, witch. I know you're strong, but how about you fight a wolf," Lana said in her wolf form as they glared at me. The two wolves kept circling me as they prepared to attack while I stood still.
  • This was it. The part I was always afraid of. Despite having natural fighting skills as the beta's daughter, and still possessing some strange power in me, I always get beaten up by even my younger sister when she's in her wolf form. The wolf is so powerful and it's unfair that the moon goddess punishes me with such a thing. So unfair!
  • Feeling pained, I took a fighting stance as Carl and Lana attacked me, and a serious war began in the room. They were stronger than me but I wasn't going to let them take me down without a fight.
