• I stood in front of the monitors, looking from one to the next, trying to see if any of the men in the cells looked familiar. Each time Arius was on one of the monitors, I was distracted. The way he held himself, the confidence he exuded was striking. I blew out a breath. This wasn’t a blood bond, or something created by being his mate, this was just the fact that he was an attractive, confident, sexy man.
• He finished talking to a guard, then walked out of view of the camera.
• I felt him come in, before I heard him. I turned, he stood there looking at me. “I wanted to see if any of the men brought in were the ones that left with those girls.” I hugged my waist. “I can’t stop thinking about them.”
