Chapter 16

• Breakfast was busy and loud. Large bodies passing food around, talking, eating. The brothers spent more time debating and arguing ideas about getting on the island than anything else. Victor and both kings spent a lot of the time standing while eating, then explaining why their ideas wouldn’t work.
• I kept my mouth shut and listened. I had no experience with any of this.
• Arius didn’t talk much either. Every time I glanced in his direction, he was looking at me.
