• As the meeting progressed, my mind drifted off from the important conversation going on in front of me and towards the woman in my life. The hospital had called to inform me about her admittance there and instead of being by her side, I was stuck in a meeting I really wasn't interested in.
• There was no doubt that I was still upset with Vanessa over the events that had unfolded a few days ago and how she had kept important information from me.
