Chapter 34 Bold Plans

• The rest of the morning passed with Brianna making sure of Lucien's safety with all that she could manage. Before lunchtime came, Tatum arrived with a big bag on his shoulder. He informed Vicky of his arrival and told her he was to bring something the boss had asked him to bring. Vicky just gave him a nod, and Tatum knew he already got the go signal to see the boss in his private office. Tatum looked around to see if Brianna was anywhere outside the boss' office. He assumed she was inside the office when he did not see her anywhere, no matter how hard he checked the surroundings. He knocked on Lucien's door, and Brianna opened the door for him. He was a bit surprised, but then he did not let his reaction show. He simply nodded his thanks to Brianna and headed in to report to his boss.
• "Boss, I have the weapons you asked me to bring over," Tatum carefully placed the bag on the center table of Lucien's receiving area. A set of two single comfortable leather chairs to the left and another two sets of the same chairs across it, and a single one at the head of a meter-long center table.
• Lucien nodded as he glanced at his driver, who came in with a big black leather bag. It must have been one of his grandpa's golf clothing bags. Then Lucien looked at Brianna.
