Chapter 37 Her Tensed Boss

• The alarm rang loudly and jolted Angel back to reality. She woke up in her small but comfortable room alone. All the luxurious ornaments, soft tapestries, and expensive paintings had disappeared from her sight. Angel removed the blanket that covered half of her body. She was a little too lazy to get out of bed and start her day back to work at the office. Her short vacation and brief relationship with her boss had ended in the most dramatic, but very satisfying way.
• “I'm going to miss breakfast in bed,” Angel muttered with her eyes half-closed.
• That morning, Xander brought her breakfast in bed one last time before they returned to New York. Angel never thought that she would wake up in Xander's bed more than satisfied. She was happy. Her face was filled with a smile as she greeted Xander, who walked into the room with his eye-catching good looks. Even the sunlight that filtered in through the window still couldn't match the glow of handsomeness that Xander radiated.
