Chapter 15 The Devilish Boss

• Angel didn't look back to see what happened to Xander and Phoebe. She had been abandoned by Xander. She regretted coming to the event to be her boss's partner.
• “Give me one bourbon.”
• Instead of enjoying dishes at the stalls, Angel turned to the bar counter, which provided a choice of various kinds of liquor. The place was designed like an elegant and exotic bar with tables made of fine mahogany wood and stools lined up in front of the counter. A bartender in a classier formal suit deftly served the drinks requested by the guests.
