Chapter 5 The Bastard Boss

  • “Xa... Xander. Since when were you there?”
  • “Since you told that stranger about my bad side.”
  • “It's not what you think.”
  • "Do you know what I'm thinking?"
  • Xander leaned forward until his face and Angel's were almost touching. Only a few more inches before he could kiss those pink lips that were panting frantically. But he had better save the best for later. Xander chose to enjoy Angel's sweet body scent and the tantalizing sight of her braless breasts.
  • She's damn hot! Xander groaned inwardly. How could he have never noticed it all this time? He would soon break his own oath if he did not straighten his back quickly. He would fuck his secretary right then and there!
  • “I-I didn't mean to badmouth you.”
  • “I heard everything you said earlier.”
  • "I apologize."
  • Angel looked really guilty. Cold sweat slid down the back of her neck and all over her body. Her eyes moved restlessly to the right and left, as if expecting someone to come to help her.
  • “You and Finn bad-mouthed me at the café. And now you're doing it with a stranger, huh? What's your real problem, Angel? You hate me? Do you have a grudge against me? What? Tell me the truth.”
  • His hand moved to lift Angel's chin so she would have no reason to avoid his gaze.
  • “Hey man, this woman is with me.”
  • "This girl is mine. She is my lover."
  • “What?”
  • Xander smirked at Angel. His arms wrapped around her waist possessively, as if he really was her boyfriend.
  • "You have a boyfriend? You said—"
  • "No, Dimitri. I don't—"
  • "She keeps her relationship with me a secret."
  • Angel panicked when Dimitri started to get off his stool to approach Xander. Dimitri pushed Xander hard and slapped his hand away from her waist.
  • "She's not your lover. Don't pretend to be her lover, dude."
  • “Wait. I know him, Dimitri. He… he is…”
  • “If you know him, why did you lie to me? Why didn’t you admit he was your boyfriend?”
  • “That’s because…” Angel glanced at Xander in frustration.
  • "Because I'm her boss"
  • “Oh, so you're that rude guy? You often play with women and get your secretary into trouble, huh?”
  • “Dimitri stop it. That is not true. Xander wasn't like that. I… I was just lying.”
  • “Seriously? Angel, you said your boss is a bastard who often orders you to clean up the mess he makes in the office," Dimitri looked at Angel with a frown and a disappointed look.
  • Angel gulped nervously. She was trapped in her own game. "I apologize. My boss is not like that. Xander Whithold is a good boss.”
  • "You said your boss was an old man with a pot-belly and a perverted brain."
  • “A-actually….”
  • “Angel has a great sense of humor. She didn't mean that. I forbid her from sharing my profile with strangers. But because you just slapped my hand and accused me of hurting Angel, I'm forced to show my true identity to you."
  • Xander placed his palm on Angel's shoulder. He made a very clear gesture in front of Dimitri that Angel was his.
  • "Forgive me. I didn't mean to lie to you, Dimitri,” Angel looked very sorry.
  • “You don't have to pay for my drink. I will pay for it myself and pay yours as an apology.”
  • "No, you don't need to. Let that be my business. Dexter!” Xander quickly turned to Dexter, who had been looking at the three of them with a face full of interest.
  • "Put both of their bills on my bill."
  • “Aye-aye captain. Done.”
  • “Well, now I need my secretary. Go away. Look for other women on the dance floor who are interested in you. This woman is mine.”
  • Angel was really busy saying prayers in her heart, so that there wouldn't be any fights because of her actions. She had just made a fatal mistake by badmouthing Xander in front of a strange man she had just met. Dimitri shot her a disappointed look. After Xander shooed him away, he turned to leave without saying anything. But he was clearly angry because he had been cheated.
  • "Who is that man? Do you really know him?”
  • “We just met on the dance floor. What are you doing here?!" Angel screamed irritably.
  • “Do I need to get your permission to go to the club?” whispered Xander sensually in her ear.
  • “You shouldn’t act like that. I mean, why are you suddenly claiming me as your girlfriend?” she freaked out.
  • “I was trying to save you from that bastard.”
  • Her body shuddered at the feeling of Xander's breath on her ear. She had never stood so close to her boss. Their bodies were almost pressed together. Xander still rested his hot palms on her bare shoulders. Angel wasn't stupid that Xander was currently staring at the V-neck of her very short dress.
  • “I'm a grown man. I decide for myself where and when I will go somewhere, Angel.”
  • “O-okay. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to badmouth you earlier."
  • "So, what were you doing with him?"
  • “Just trying to find an interesting topic. He was the one who initially asked what I did for a living, then we talked about the strict boss to avoid awkwardness."
  • "Who did you come here with?"
  • “My cousin, Ellena. She had just returned from shooting in Las Vegas and wanted to loosen her frayed nerves. She took me here.”
  • "Where is she now? Your cousin shouldn't have left you alone,” Xander grumbled as he took a sip of his vodka.
  • His arm was still on Angel's shoulder. He marked his possessions clearly so that no man would try to approach Angel again.
  • “I think she has found an interesting man. I saw her chatting with someone on the dance floor."
  • Angel looked around frantically among the dozens of people who were swaying on the dance floor. Ellena was nowhere to be seen. She wanted to ask her cousin for help, so she could escape from Xander's clutches. But as far as her eyes could see, she only found strangers. Her cousin was nowhere to be found.
  • "By the way, Angel, I didn't think that you could turn into a naughty woman," Xander's eyes flashed like a predator.
  • “I'm having fun here. You have no right to criticize my style.”
  • She tried to cover her cleavage with her arms. But that was a terrible idea because her breasts looked like they were going to jump out of Ellena's mini-bra cup.
  • "It’s true. I'm not criticizing you, I'm admiring the beauty that you rarely show in the office."
  • Angel's body shivered as Xander's fingertips gently rubbed her thighs. She had dreamed about it for months after becoming Xander's secretary. In every erotic dream she imagined Xander touching her skin with his warm but firm palms. But all her erotic dreams were nothing compared to the real touch of Xander's hot palms. Her body was tingling, and melting like melted chocolate. She was afraid that Xander would see her hardened breasts under that super mini dress.
  • “Sorry, I have to go home.”
  • Angel hastily jumped up from her stool. She shuffled away from Xander until she was sure Xander's fingers were no longer on her skin.
  • "You have a meeting at eight tomorrow and I have to come to the office at seven to prepare everything."
  • “Good girl. I like having a secretary like you. How are you going to get home? Did you bring your car?”
  • “Ellena and I took a taxi because we were worried we would be too drunk when we got home and wouldn't be able to drive ourselves.”
  • Angel suddenly felt sad because she had to go home alone without Ellena. Her cousin would definitely never remember her while she was busy fondling her date.
  • "I'll take you home."
  • “No. You don’t have to drive me home. I’ll call a taxi.”
  • “You think I'm going to let you go home alone with that dress, huh?” Xander looked at Angel's body from head to toe. But he deliberately lingered on the V-neck section, which had the most beautiful view. He licked his lips as erotic images of himself licking his secretary’s cleavage danced in his mind..
  • "Wear my jacket to cover your body."
  • "But I'm not cold."
  • “Who said this jacket is to keep your body warm? This jacket is to cover your transparent body.”
  • “You think this dress is made of plastic, huh?”
  • “You really look like you’re wearing plastic instead of a dress. You had perky breasts that almost jumped out of the small cup of your bra. People will be happy to see you without a jacket.”
  • Angel grabbed the sports jacket from Xander's hands roughly. She didn't like the way Xander described her appearance tonight. She knew that she had made a mistake by wearing Ellena's tight dress. If she could turn back time, she would like to wear her own dress and appear more covered.
  • "Do not frown. You're prettier when you smile."
  • “You don’t have to pretend to flatter me. I know I’m no match for your dates.”
  • “Of course you’re no match for them. Because you are at a higher level than them.”
