Chapter 9 The Devilish Boss

• Either Angel should be grateful or sad. Xander had a business trip to Rome after kissing her at the office. Angel was relieved when Finn told her that his brother had left early in the morning to check on the construction process of his new resort in Rome. She couldn't imagine having to work with Xander after that kiss. At least, a week would give her a break to regulate her own body's reaction every time she remembered that kiss.
• Xander was too hot to resist. Everything about Xander was very tempting to taste. She could barely concentrate at work the rest of the day because she couldn't stop the throbbing pleasure on her lips. Angel cursed Xander's calmness after the kiss. He acted like nothing wow had ever happened between them. Xander forgot about it quickly, and he didn't think at all about how it affected Angel.
• "You always come home from work on time lately. Don't you have overtime with your sexy boss?" Ellena asked while resting her chin on the dining table. She was looking at Angel who was cooking tuna pasta seriously.
