Chapter 33 Beaten By Xander

• Angel was very sure that what Ellena said to her was not intended to scare her. Ellena just loved her so much that she didn't want anything bad to happen to her. And what Ellena said was not entirely correct. Love was not evil at all. Love was the best, noblest and truest feeling. There was nothing wrong when love was present in someone's life.
• Angel spent one day living as Xander's lover. Everything went smoothly. Yesterday, Xander kept his promise to return to their suite as soon as possible after all his business with the owner of the Metropolis Hotel was finished. They spent the whole afternoon and evening watching movies on TV. Xander turned out to be a movie lover. But, after his hotel business developed rapidly, he became too busy and rarely had time to watch movies. Angel was happy to enjoy watching movies with Xander. Especially because they watched a really exciting romantic comedy movie. Angel saw Xander laugh a lot while they were watching the movie of her choice.
• When the movie finished, they didn't realize that the sky had turned dark. Xander carried Angel to her bedroom, so Angel could take a shower. Half an hour later, they were sitting at the dining table with a bucket of crispy fried chicken and a jumbo bottle of cola. Xander ordered dinner outside the hotel because he was bored with the French menu. During that dinner, they chatted about trivial things in a very pleasant way. Angel really enjoyed her first day as Xander's lover. The rest of the day ended with a goodnight kiss on the forehead and Angel slept very soundly in Xander's warm arms.
