Chapter 35 Max's Promise
- Arnold returned home with heavy steps and a grim expression on his face. The light from his eyes exuded an inexplicable anger, and the dark aura emanating from him was capable of making anyone chuckle. He stepped inside, tossed his coat carelessly, and without a second thought, he headed for the billiard room.
- This billiard room in his house, apart from being a place to play, also served as a storage warehouse for his alcohol collection. He walked through the rows of glittering bottles, looking for one that could ease his anger a little. His hand finally found a beer bottle. He picked one with the lowest alcohol content.
- Arnold opened the bottle and poured it into the prepared glass. He lifted the glass, staring at the gold-colored liquid for a moment before finally drinking it. It tasted slightly bitter on his tongue. However, it was enough to calm his chaotic mind.
