Chapter 21

I closed my eyes- I didn't want to see if he meant it- because he didn't, obviously he didn't.
"You will not even be a memory." I knew it hurt him, I knew it. But suddenly he had laid me down on the bed, and was hovering over me, and then he gave me the gentlest kiss possible. The kind that made my mind dizzy and my body thrilled. And like that kiss at the party, I was fighting against myself. It was so unfair that he was my mate. Literally anyone on earth would be better.
It would be him that would make me feel this way, and I hated it.
