• Maya found herself pacing back and forth in Leo's office, her heart racing with anxiety as she waited for him to return from his meeting with the pack elders. She had spent the past hour wrestling with her thoughts, trying to make sense of Romeo's unexpected proposal and the implications it held for her pack and her future.
