Chapter 20

• Anderson was in his room when the twins and Jamal left the house. He had suspected they had plans but he never knew they were going to leave the house. He was on his way to the kitchen to get a glass of water. When he saw Jamal sneaking out of his room, into Jabal's room. He hid himself to see what was going on. He saw them come out of Jabal's room, as they head for Jasmine's. By the time they got to her door, already out of her room. He could hear them whisper to themselves. Without going to the kitchen again, he returned to his room and was by the window watching them sneaked into the car, not after giving the house the last look. He sighed as the car drove out of the compound. He wasn't sure where the twins were heading to and if they will be back before dusk but he suspected that they might have left to find answers about their identity. Although, he doesn't know why they wanted to find out more about their identity, and why they had decided to skip school, he was sure they won't cause any trouble. He also trusts them to be good. Taking his mind off them, he went to the bathroom to take his bath and prepare for work.

• He walked downstairs with his briefcase, only to meet a note on the dining table. He opened the note to read. He sighed. They want him to know they are fine and he shouldn't bother about finding them. He dropped the note into his suit pocket. He does want to believe they are fine. He knows he has to believe them and trust that they have made the right choice. He sighed and sat down to eat. He was almost done taking his breakfast when he heard a knock on the door. He raised his head. He wasn't expecting any visitor. "Or are the kids back home?" He thought. The maid went to open the door. "Who is that?" He asked the maid
