Chapter 17

• Alora dropped them back at school, so they could take their car and go home. All through the drive back home, each of them was lost in his or her thought. They do not want to get involved in any fight with anybody, neither do they want the world to suffer for their cause. It's so confusing and surprising, how their lives had changed within a very short period. Their once normal lives are now tied to others and they have to decide to save the world.  Getting home, they wanted to narrate everything that had happened to their dad. They felt he should know better than them, but decided against it when Jabal said they could handle the situation themselves, for now. To Jasmine, that was the first time Jabal is making a sensible decision. It isn't like she's trying to insult him but that's the truth. The rest of the day went slowly, as they tried to get involved in games and other things to keep their minds away from, Alora's talk.
• THE EARTH WITCHES COVEN
• Alora had been trying as much as she can to make them change their minds. She was more concerned about the twins, because on their shoulders, lies the fate of the earth witches' coven and also the fate of the world. As the day moved gradually, turning to days and days into weeks, more murmurings arose at the earth witches' coven's secret chamber. They were becoming impatient. More lives are been lost every day and they blamed Ella for being incompetent. Some were already having a change of mind to join Rose instead of dying like a chicken. And no matter how Alora tried to make them understand the twins will have a change of mind very soon, all they could see is doom. Not just the doom of the earth witches but also the doom of the world. Ariana wasn't left behind too. If she can't get through to Jasmine, there is no way she can make them change their minds. Although Jabal seems to go against Jasmine's word sometimes, he still does eventually everything she says. Due to her inability to make them change their mind, her mother has stopped her from attending the twins' school. There is no point going there if the reason she was asked to go there in the first place hasn't been accomplished. As the day goes by, they are all to wait patiently for either their doom or their victory.
