Chapter 91
- Lycus's pov.
- I had borne a lot of things, a lot of emotions, a lot of trails and above all, a lot of betrayals but this was different. This was too real, the evidence glaring but at the corner of my mind I solely wished that it was all false. That Fay had made a mistake when racking through Andros's head, that Andros had made a mistake and laid false accusations so I could drive a sword directly through him. I wished with all my might hoping that they were not telling me the truth.
- I chose not to believe Lycus, she would never do that, Spyro said as my quaking hands grabbed onto the reins of the horse and gearing it to go faster. I could see Andros at the fore front leading us to where he knew the Vampires had taken Amara and I could smell that the vampires had been present on these paths, I was glad that I had followed Andros's lead for once but the rest of the story was hard to believe. Not hard to believe but hard for me to believe as I wanted to keep deceiving myself and coaxing my mind into denying the truth.
