I got the water and went straight to my office to my office to drop my things off before going up to check on her and when I got in there, a smile came across my lips seeing a present box and a box of chocolate next to it. I got my hands on it, excitement bubbling within me as I opened it knowing she had dropped it there for me and there were two mugs in the parcel, one had my name "Orian" written on them and the second had "grump" printed on it, I grinned lifting them and admiring them with butterflies swarming in my belly. I just knew I would never take coffee or any hot beverage if it wasn't in these mugs.
And as I admired my new mugs, my gaze fleeted across the table and my heart dropped just as I carefully placed the gifts down.
I got nauseous staring at the table and seeing a copy of the file I had gotten from Hector's office, the file was touched and how it got there was of great wonder to me. I noticed that the table wasn't how I left it, it was arranged and the trashcan wasn't exactly in the same spot with the papers in it uncrumpled.
