Chapter 19 The Mountains; A Stranger

• On their way to the mountains, Amelia was feeling extremely bothered. She badly wanted to ask Annie, who was in front of her, a question.
• Annie was a strong vampire, and because of this, she was able to read Amelia’s inner emotions. Without bothering to look at Amelia, she asked her, “What is it, Amelia? Why are you troubling yourself?”.
• Amelia was surprised because of Annie's question. ‘How did lady Annie know I was troubled?’. She mused. She didn't want to keep Annie waiting, causing her to reply, “My lady, I don't understand. Why did you make those suggestions to the advisors of Lord Davis? They are dangerous. So, why would you allow someone dangerous to stay with us in the manor?”.
