Chapter 1 Transmigration
- Note: This novel is fiction and most or some of the actions are unrealistic.
- "Oh sh*t! Can't I have a goodnight sleep without at least having any dreams?". Annie was tired of all those nightmares she always had when asleep. She still couldn't get over the death of her parents or just maybe her parents couldn't get over her yet. She thought to herself.
- Annie had injured many doctors because of this particular problem... "I paid them millions of dollars! And they dared to tell me nonsense!?". Annie was so furious now. Her parents died, leaving her behind when she was at a young age, and now they want her back even after death!?
- "What would I do to stop seeing these nightmares?! Even if I have to travel to another world for it to stop! I sure am willing!". Annie said loudly. Annoyance was shown deeply inside her voice. [The dreams do make her insane, that for no reason she just wants to kill and spill people in their cold blood!].
- Shoving down all the wine inside her mouth, Annie decided to go back to sleep. It was still midnight, those dreams of hers wouldn't leave her be.
- ...
- In an unknown realm of death! _ [Voice: "There's still a chance for your spirit to make it back to your body. What are you waiting for? If you don't hurry and return, you're going to die for real!". The deep voice asked the young female vampire, who was hesitating about going back to her unconscious body.
- Looking up at the dark abyss, the young female vampire smiled before she said, "I'm already dead. I'm simply a useless vampire. But I think I know what I must do. I willingly want to offer my body to someone else”.
- "Someone else? And who might that be?". The deep voice asked.
- "She wishes to travel to another world willingly…. So I'm now willingly ready to give my body to her. Please". The young vampire pleaded. [To her, there really was no need for her to return to her body when she was just an outcast vampire, who everyone despised. Instead, she would give her body to someone else and remain dead].
- "So be it!". The deep voice announced.
- Soon after, a sudden flashlight shone brightly like a thousand stars in the darkness before the light then travelled to another universe, meeting a particular sleeping lady. "There's no turning back after this!". The deep voice warned the young female vampire.
- "I'm aware". This was the female vampire's reply to the deep voice. And after a while, the bright lights that had shone previously, faded away since it had executed its assignment.
- "It is done". The deep voice announced, and at that same moment, the young female vampire's spirit faded away, now on its journey to the afterlife.
- ....
- Morning time finally came, and the sunlight shone brightly on the asleep female body, causing her to wake up from her sleep.
- Looking up at her surroundings, Annie was totally confused. "Where is this damn place?".
- "My lady!! Thank goodness you're finally awake! I thought I had lost you". A young lady called out before sobbing. This made Annie even more confused.
- 'What's up with her? And her dressing style? What a weirdo'. Annie thought. She didn't mind the sobbing lady at all and got out of the bed she was lying on. "I have to get out of here. How did I even end up in such a place like this?". Annie said to herself, and before she was able to move outside, someone grabbed her leg. "Eh?". Annie frowned and stared at the young sobbing lady, who was preventing her from leaving. 'What's really up with her?'. Annie wondered. Without minding this, Annie pushed the lady away from her and scolded her, "Out of my way!".
- Annie then ran outside and left the strange-looking room. But the thing was, everything got even worse when she had a look outside. "What the!? What the heck is this damn place!?". Furious, Annie yelled out in frustration. "How did I end up in such an ancient place!? All the houses are huge and big, like old castles". Annie added and gritted her teeth in annoyance.
- Meanwhile, inside the strange looking room, the young lady who was still inside, stood up and approached Annie. "A… Are you alright, My Lady?". Amelia asked Annie, who was looking totally confused, but Annie didn't reply.
- Now, Amelia wanted to get closer to Annie, but she was afraid that Annie was going to push her roughly again.
- "What's this place!? You! Get me out of here this instant! I don't care how you do it…. But just get me out of here!". Annie yelled at Amelia. She went ahead and grabbed Amelia's dress afterward.
- "Wh- What's wrong, My Lady? Why are you acting this way? You're scaring me". Amelia cried out because of Annie's weird behaviour.
- After seeing the way Amelia started crying bitterly, Annie let go of her dress and thought, 'It seems like this girl gets emotional easily'.
- "Where is this place? I mean, all of this place". Annie asked Amelia, but this time around, her voice was calm as she didn't want Amelia to continue crying, thereby causing noise in her ears.
- "My Lady, don't you remember anything? This is the vampire city, of course. Remember, we arrived here last week after you were kicked out of the Mansion". Amelia cleaned the tears in her eyes as she explained.
- "Mansion? Being kicked out?". Annie muttered because she didn't get any of these. All she remembered was that she went to sleep in her bedroom before she arrived in this strange world. 'Wait, is this a scam or what? Vampire city? Don't cause me to laugh, you funny emotional girl. Vampires aren't real at all. They are just a myth and nothing more'. Annie thought to herself before she sighed deeply.
- Although what Amelie had explained to Annie sounded funny and unreal, Annie had no choice and still tried hard to process everything that was happening to her.
- Although the things Amelia explained sounded unreal, Annie had to believe them because, the more she stared at everything before her eyes, the more she understood that this wasn't the same world she knew.
- 'So that means I have transmigrated to another world. And the worst part of it is that, it's not a normal world but a damn Vampire world! How does this even make any sense? This is unbelievable!'. Annie thought and didn't say this out loud because she didn't want Amelia to find out that she was a fake, or whatever they call it.
- "You girl, I think I lost some of my memories. Can you tell me why she…. I mean, can you explain to me why I got kicked out of the Mansion?". Annie asked Amelia before she thought again, 'For me to survive this, I think I'll need to know more about the real host of this body. Can I ever get back home?'.
- Amelia was a naive 18-year-old lady, so she had no idea that this Annie wasn't the same Annie she once knew and served.... Her real Lady Annie was already dead, and this fake Annie was just her replacement.
- Amelia sighed sadly and replied to Annie, "Remember My Lady, they said you're a weak, useless and unattractive vampire. And, and that you're not different from lowly and lowlife vampires like me".
- Annie could see the sadness in Amelia's eyes after she had finished talking. 'At least... Now that I have transmigrated to this body, am I not supposed to remember or know something? Does this body have no memories!? This is a hard one for me... How am I supposed to survive this whole mess if I don't have the real host's memories!?'. Annie thought.
- "Ah! My head…. What's happening to me?". Annie cried out as she suddenly felt a sharp stinging pain in her head. The pain was so severe that it even caused her to fall to her knees with extreme force.
- "My Lady, are you alright!?". Amelia panicked after witnessing the way Annie had fallen to her knees. She squatted down, as she tried to help Annie stand up.
- 'Finally!. I've acquired this body's memories!'. Annie thought and was certain about this. The pain in her head strangely caused the real host's memories to come to her naturally!.
- Annie stood up immediately in confidence. She stared at Amelia with encouraging eyes, which were fierce, as she announced, "I think I've remembered everything now, Amelia!".
