• Maddy dropped her arms out to push herself up. Her hand hit something, she turned to look and saw the Quaich rolling towards the edge of the desk. “Oh!” She reached for it at the same time as Colin did. Their hands touched around it and something flashed through their arms.
• Maddy looked at the glow around it and then to Colin. “Don’t let go.”
• He nodded and held it carefully with his hand overlapping hers as he reached to slowly pull her upright. “Maddy.”
