• Maddy and Colin stood there and watched out the window as Ginger and Regina left through the old maple portal. Maddy took a deep breath and held her hands over her cheeks. “Just one normal day.”
• Colin put his arm around her shoulders and hugged her into him. “Hey the morning may have started out a bit rocky, but it hasn’t been all bad.”
• Maddy rolled her eyes at him. “You’re just happy that Alice will never come here again.” She blew out a breath. “I still can’t believe...” Sarabi came flying across the room and knocked Colin to the floor. Maddy gasped. “Sarabi, stop.”
